The Florida State Seminoles are back on the road and on the court for their annual matchup with the #2 ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
It’s a game the Fs will be looking to win for years to come.
The Seminoles have the best record in the ACC and ranked No. 2 in the country in a number of major statistical categories.
Georgia Tech will be without a true freshman to start the year.
The Yellow Jackets will be missing four of their top players and have some major questions to answer on the offensive side of the ball.
#FSU, #Yukon, #Spencer, #Bachmann #Georgia Tech vs #FSU – ESPN Stats & Info – ESPN Insider link Georgia State will have a very different lineup than Florida State.
This game should be the most entertaining in recent FSU history.
I believe that the fans at the Georgia Dome are going to be the ones getting excited for the return of FSU basketball to Tallahassee.
The game will be one of the biggest college basketball games in the state of Florida and will be a massive win for the fans.
The #Spartan, #FSU vs Georgia Tech – ESPN SportsCenter link The Georgia Dome will be packed for this matchup.
We know it’s the most hyped game in FSU athletics history.
The fans will be excited and excited for this game and we’re sure the media will be on their way to cover this game.
#Spartans’ J.C. Chaney has been the talk of the ACC this season, and I believe that he will have an even bigger impact on the Yellow Jackets offense.
He’s a good rebounder, a solid defender and a solid passer.
He’ll be one to watch this season.
Georgia Tech’s D.J. Scott has a chance to become the first true freshman ever to lead FSU in scoring this season after averaging 19.7 points per game last season.
There will be two teams that will be very familiar to the fans in the Atlanta crowd.
J Watt is coming off a breakout season at Wisconsin.
He’s a 6-10 center with an NBA pedigree.
He averaged 23.3 points per contest in his sophomore season and is now averaging a career-high 28.9 points per outing.
The #11 Jalen Jones has been solid in his three years in the program.
Jalen Jones averaged 19.3 PPG in his senior season and his freshman season, he was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
After averaging 16.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in his freshman year, Jalen has fallen off a bit since that season.
He hasn’t been as prolific as he was in his rookie year, but he is still one of our top scorers.
Both teams have a solid defensive core and will have to do a lot to stop each other.
Georgia Tech will have the edge going forward.
The Fs are coming off an impressive season last year, and they should have another great one this year.
Florida State has a big advantage in the paint and should have a tough time putting up big shots from deep.
The #11/16 Jalen Ellis is one of their best scorers and should be able to get his scoring on point this season too.
But I don’t think this game is going to decide the series.
It’s going to go down to the wire, and it will be the last time we see #1-ranked Florida State in Atlanta.
I don’t know how many people have seen the Yellow Jacket’s win over Georgia Tech, but they have been dominant all year long.
I think that FSU will come out with the win and send this game to overtime.
Stay tuned for more updates.
